Broker's Comments
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey range of cruisers grace every Mediterranean anchorage and the 42i, whilst popular as charter yachts, are often the choice of those wanting sailing performance as well as comfort in their own boat.
The 42i doesn't want for much as a performance cruiser, she's set up for short-handed so will be easy to sail well with her mirrored twin helms putting everything within reach. Moving around on deck feels safe and secure and the cockpit is well defined so that you can spread out or snug up depending on conditions.
First impressions going below are of light and space. She presents well, clean and tidy and smells fresh and really does feel like she's a much bigger boat than she actually is. All the cabins have good double berths, the aft cabins particularly are really spacious and both heads have showers. The saloon is comfortable and easily converted between seating, dining and sleeping if required.
This is a boat designed to be enjoyed, whether under sail or alongside; the emphasis is all on pleasure!
