The boat show held at the MDL marina Queen Anne's Battery (QAB) on the 25 - 26 of April in Plymouth, experienced a variety of local displays and weather.

This local show had the support from RNLI, Police, local marine businesses, manufacturers and held some really great displays for personal water craft by some of the top riders in the country performing stunts. Then there was SUP, stand up and Paddle!

Stand up Paddle (SUP) originated like Surfing in Hawaii in 1940's when the local surfers paddled out standing up to take pictures of the tourists in Wikiki, standing up to ride alongside, to get the right shot.

Neil Chapman from Boatshed.com decided to give it a go. Gently placing both feet on the board you soon realise that it's quite a stable platform and paddling away Neil was heading out of the marina. You can go for miles on this board and its good exercise as you are paddling and stabilising your self. Reactive water Sports in Plymouth take groups up river for a pint and meal, then return.

You can also turn these boards into windsurfers making them pretty versatile.

Boatshed Plymouth took a stand at the show met old and new clients and also enjoyed a few glasses of champagne at their fizz@five party. The show gave them excellent enquiries for boats for sale and a few boats sold during the show. Boatshed Plymouth yacht brokers have their base at Liara Wharf but are often out visting the other marinas in the area whilst on viewings with customers. You can view up to 70 photos showing detailed photos of the boats interior and exterior on their website Boatshed Plymouth boat sales
