“We’re going to sail to New York!” Pete and Barb Chapman, consultants to the Boatshed Yacht Brokerage group recently announced…..

Unfortunately Boatshed Yacht Brokers have not managed to sell them a new boat for the trip.
A lifelong ambition for Pete and Barb was realised this week as they boarded RMS Queen Mary 2 and set sail across the Atlantic for a luxury trip to New York.

Pete and Barb and a group of friends all left Southampton this week and the Boatshed HQ team were there to wave them off.
A misty afternoon in the Solent saw the Boatshed Ketch witness a sail by as QM 2 headed for the Nab Tower and then out into the Atlantic.

“We got close enough to see them, but stayed well out of her way as she picked up speed down the Solent” claimed Neil and Josh from Boatshed.com aboard the Boatshed ketch ,
“Big and Beautiful” said Josh……….151000 tons big actually!
