BoatBid Spring Boat Auction has begun
There are currently nearly 40 used boats for sale in the auction including everything from a 22’ wooden Buchannan sloop sailing boat to a Fairline Squadron 58 luxury motor boat and all things in between.
There are RIBS for sale, a fantastic liveaboard with a rented mooring in Yorkshire, a great range of sailing boats including makes such as Jeanneau, Westerly, Rival and Beneteau. For the motor boat fans we have not one but 3 Storebro crusiers along with Fairline, Sea Ray, Bayliner, Regal and Monterey boats for sale. And for those who like their boats with even more fun there’s a Parasail boat, you could even possibly start your own parasailing business with her!
Take a look at the catalogue to see what used boats we’ve got in the auction by following the link:
Once you’ve chosen your new boat you can find out more details about her by contacting the Boatshed.com broker who listed her, even make an appointment to go and see her before the auction closes.
Isn't it just ebay for boats?
BoatBid.com boat auctions are different to internet auction sites such as ebay. If you are the winning bidder you still have the option to undertake a professional survey before you complete the purchase as the boat sale will continue using the standard Boatshed.com brokerage procedure, and obviously you’ll have the support of the Boatshed Broker if any unknown defects come to light.
Another difference to ebay and other internet auction sites is our extended bidding feature which we have introduced due to customer feedback from our last auction. There’s no need for elaborate bidding software as our auctions automatically extend by 10 minutes when a bid is placed in the closing stages of the auction, until there hasn’t been a bid for 10 minutes, just to make sure all who want to buy a boat can.
The bidding is going strong today; the first auction session closes at 17:00 GMT on 25th February so there is still time for you to place a bid on your dream boat. Follow the link below to find out more about buying through the BoatBid.com Auction.
For those who have a boat to sell in the next BoatBid.com auction which starts on April 20th 2009 here is a link for you.
